Carrot and Apple Juice


If like me you perhaps over indulged a little over the weekend and fancy getting some goodness back into your body, you should definitely try out this apple and carrot juice!  After dragging myself to the gym, I’ve just slurped back this delicious treat and feeling pretty good about myself now!

It takes two seconds to make using the following ingredients:

1 Carrot
2 Apples
Pinch of Cinnamon

All you need to do is add the apples and carrot into your juicer, before pouring into a glass with ice and sprinkling  some cinnamon over the top.

This is a lovely sweet creamy drink full of vitamins.  Carrots are full of beta-carotene, which is a red-orange pigment found in plants and fruits, giving them their rich colours.   The human body coverts beta-carotene into vitamin A, which we need for healthy skin, our immune system and good eye health and vision.  The carrot juice also provides vitamins B, C, E and K.  Adding the apple juice also provides malic acid (which is celebrated for its ability to brighten the skin and smooth it’s texture).

  1. Good idea with the cinnamon. I will try it next time!
    I also add a bit of lemon juice in my freshly pressed juices to keep them from oxidation- like that I have the extra time to wash the juicer too (why do they have to have so many pieces? 🙂 🙂 :)).


      1. I tried the cinnamon…interesting taste! I am not very much into cinnamon generally, but this combo is definitely a keeper 🙂 Have a great Sunday!
