Confetti Nails

You might have already seen this pic posted on my Instagram, but these confetti nails were done at the start of my holiday.  Super simple to do, they can be adapted with a wide range of colours and various glitter polishes.

I did a similar look with my Pastel Polishes post, where the same principles apply.
To recap though…..

Step 1 – Apply a good base coat

Step 2 – Apply two coats of your chosen polish. In this case I used Angelica Cashmere Matte Finish in ‘Feather’.  (This looks really nice on its own, but because I added the glitter polish and top coat, you don’t get the Matte finish here)

Step 3 – Draw a line of glitter polish along the tip of your nail.  I used Barry M’s ‘Atlantis 451’ from their Aquarium Collection and LOVE it!! Depending on the polish you might want to use a fine brush or dotting tool to bring down the glitter across the nail, but for this one I just dragged it down with the nail brush.

Step 4 – Once the glitter is dry add on a top coat to set in place. It’s important to let it dry so the glitter won’t be dragged over the nail in areas you don’t want (and so it doesn’t transfer over to your top coat brush!!)

And that’s you done!! Simple!! ๐Ÿ’…๐Ÿป๐Ÿ’…๐Ÿป๐Ÿ’…๐Ÿป
